Too many students cannot gain experience because entry-level opportunities already ask for experience. At the same time, thousands of growing businesses have meaningful work they never have time to delegate. ShawEXP exists to connect those two realities.

Make early professional experience more accessible, more useful, and more credible.
ShawEXP is building a managed student-employment model: businesses receive help defining and filling flexible roles, while students receive access to paid work that creates real professional development.
We are launching with a focused founding cohort in Northern Virginia while building a model designed to expand into additional markets.
The goal is not to place students into busywork. It is to create structured opportunities where students can own meaningful responsibilities, receive feedback, and leave with stronger skills, achievements, and references.
